Collaborate
Several kinds of people are useful here.
The work I want to do is too big to do alone, and I'm not interested in building it with people who don't share the values. Below are the doors. Walk through whichever one fits.
Developers
Especially if you write internal tools, care about craft, and would rather build the thing right than ship the thing fast. Shelfable and SourceLayer both have surface area.
Researchers
If you study cooperative ownership, succession economics, or the operational lives of small organizations — I want to read your work and probably commission some of it.
Artists
I am quietly building an empire of artists, creators, and lovers. The Whitemarsh Art Center is one node. There will be others. Bring your medium.
Investors
Mission-aligned, patient, allergic to extraction. If you fund stewardship-shaped companies, StewardBridge will need patient capital eventually — not yet. Still working out the kinks.
Volunteers
The Whitemarsh Art Center always needs hours, hands, and skills. So does any community institution near you. I can connect you to either.
Strategic partners
Other consultancies, cooperatives, and small studios doing adjacent work. Let's stop competing for the same five mission-driven clients and start sending each other work.
Employers
I'm not for hire as an FTE right now, but I'm always open to advising or fractional roles where my work and yours genuinely align.
Clients
If your organization is struggling with systems that don't serve your people, the consulting page is the front door.
Knock on the door.
Tell me which door you're knocking through, and what you'd like to build together. Don't see your door? Write me anyway — the list is incomplete on purpose.
